Home Made Loops

We are trying to take our worship up a notch and incorporate loops.  Northpointmusic.org has a lot of the songs we do as a package, including chord charts, lyrics, and loop tracks.  However, since they don’t carry everything, we are having to learn how to do loops ourselves.  My first couple of loops were simple(You Are), then we progressed to more complex (Mighty to Save).  I would love to play them from the Mac but it is used for ProPresenter.  So Matt (drummer dude) loads them into his drum machine and uses a pad as a trigger…which is great, because if we flub it up, he can switch it off quickly.  Using Avioms, we crank the loop up in our ears to stay on beat.  Keeps us tight. To give you and idea of the possibilities, here is a video Matt has found on making home made loops.  This guy is…well….let’s say he’s unique.
