Our power went out Saturday morning. For a brief period I was bored silly. And those with kids know that no power+kids=’what do I do next?’  No Twitter, no news, no GoVols.com, no weather watching, no TV, no Thomas the train, no Mickey Mouse Clubhouse…. just silence.

So we read books to Wyatt; card matching games; made a big tent city in the middle of the living room.  It was a blast.

Maybe the power needs to go out more often.  What would our kids be like then?
